The Department of Mechanical Engineering has a program called Master’s Degree +1 that enables undergraduate students to complete both their bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree by taking just one additional year after graduation. Upon entering the graduate program, they can receive scholarships from funding agencies (CAPES, CNPq, and FAPERJ) to complete their Master’s degree.
