International Exchange Program
PUC-Rio, through the Central Coordination for International Cooperation (CCCI), has exchange agreements with more than 500 partner universities in more than 60 countries and offers three types of exchange:
1. International Academic Exchange – Period of six months to one year: allows regularly enrolled students to attend one or two semesters at one of the partner universities. There are more than 300 agreements on all continents, with programs that cover all areas of knowledge.
2. Short-term Exchange – Period of two to nine weeks in June, July or August: program carried out at renowned Universities affiliated with PUC-Rio. Participants have access to all facilities of the chosen institution, such as libraries, multimedia laboratories, sports complexes, among others. At the end of the period, students receive a certificate of participation from the university with the level obtained and the workload completed.
3. Double Diploma Exchange – Period of one year and six months or two years: involves studying at two higher education institutions. In this case, PUC-Rio is an international partner institution. The student spends the first part of their degree at PUC-Rio and one or two years at the host institution. The student must meet the requirements to graduate from both institutions, as at the end of the process they receive two diplomas. More information: http://www.puc-rio.br/ensinopesq/ccc1
