LSFO has a multidisciplinary team of mechanical and electronic engineers, physicists and chemists focused on developing innovative sensing solutions based on fiber optic sensor technology. The solutions developed by LSFO are based on fiber optic sensing technology. This technology brings a series of advantages inherent in the operating principle of fiber optic sensors, which take advantage of the changes introduced in the light guided through the fiber by the quantity to be measured. The special characteristics of fiber optic sensors make them particularly suitable for applications in various industrial sectors, especially oil and gas, power generation and transmission, and civil infrastructure.
